We share the Gospel, walk with people as they grow in Christ, and train them to do the same for someone else.
We are not trying to gather a crowd.
We are trying to raise up men and women who know Christ deeply, live changed lives, and carry the Gospel into their own families and streets. That takes time, and it takes people willing to walk with one person at a time.
The discipleship pathway
Four stages, and none of them optional.
This is the shape of everything we do. A person hears the Gospel, is grounded in Scripture, is walked with by name, and is then sent to do the same for somebody else.
Stage 01
Reach
The Gospel goes out.
We take the good news into homes, streets and workplaces, in ordinary conversation and in person. Most people here hear it first from someone they already know and trust.
Stage 02
Root
New believers are grounded.
Faith that lasts is built on Scripture. New believers are taught the Bible carefully and plainly, book by book, until they can stand on it without us.
Stage 03
Grow
Someone walks with them.
A maturer believer meets with them week by week to read, pray and talk honestly. They are absorbed into a fellowship rather than added to a list.
Stage 04
Send
Disciples make disciples.
In time they do for someone else what was done for them. That is the point at which discipling a person is actually finished, and not before.
What we do
The work, week by week.
None of it is complicated. Worship, teaching, and people giving their time to other people, week after week, for as long as it takes.
Worship and Prayer
We gather to sing, to read Scripture aloud and to pray together before anything else is asked of us.
Bible Teaching
Careful teaching through whole books of Scripture, so believers know what God has actually said.
Personal Discipleship
One believer walking with another over months and years, until they are ready to walk with someone else.
Evangelistic Outreach
Taking the Gospel into homes, streets and workplaces across the city, patiently and in person.
Home Fellowship
Small groups meeting in homes across the city, where most of our discipleship actually happens.
Counselling
Sitting with people in grief, conflict, addiction and fear, and bringing Scripture to bear gently.
Discipleship School
A developing school in Karachi, training believers to teach and disciple others well.

Training the people who will train the next.
More people are coming to faith here than we have mature believers able to walk with them. A school lets us train a group properly at once, rather than one at a time over years we do not have.
A year of study, spiritual formation and supervised practice, so that nobody finishes having only learned in a classroom. The vision is settled. The premises, the timing and the funding are still being worked out.
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

Names have been changed. In Pakistan that is not a formality.
I had gone to church since I was a girl, but nobody had ever sat down and read the Bible with me. When someone finally did, week after week, I found that I did not know Christ at all. I only knew about him. That was two years ago. I lead the women’s study in our fellowship now.

It took me a long while to believe that God would want me, and longer still to tell my family. The man who discipled me is the first person I telephone when something goes wrong.
